Aspiring doctors – confidence to ask questions

30-10-2020

Michael aspires to be a doctor.

He is studying all the right subjects and his English is fluent.

Like many students, when he first arrived he was not confident about asking questions in class.

Participation in class is an important feature of the UK education system.

Students are encouraged to ask questions and challenge their knowledge.

“No question is a stupid question” is what many schools believe.

Now he has returned to the UK for his second year, his confidence has improved and he is willing to participate more.  This will mean he improves in all of his subjects much more quickly.

Confidence is key to studying abroad!  Best of luck with your studies Michael!
