Covid-19 testing requirements for entry to the UK 11/2/22 Update

13-02-2022

You will be aware from media coverage that requirements for entry to the UK have changed again this morning, so that no tests are required for fully vaccinated travellers arriving in the UK.

All children (under 18) qualify as fully vaccinated regardless of their country of origin. A simplified passenger locator form will still be required. There have been a number of other changes of which students, parents, agents and schools should be aware:

  • For those over-18 the list of countries from which vaccination status will be accepted has been expanded further and the list now includes China, Mexico & a dozen other countries.
  • Those over-18s who still count as unvaccinated no longer need to self-isolate but must take a pre-departure test and a Day 2 test on arrival
  • Children aged 12-15 in England can now prove their vaccination status through the app.
