When staying in a homestay, our students can upskill their English communication skills, enjoy family life and experience things they wouldn’t usually.

Our homestay took her student out and about during the Easter break, here are some lovely photos taken by the student during their trip:

Our homestay said

‘’ We visited Durham City a few times to eat out and went rowing on the river.

She has been on lots of lovely country walks, visits to nature reserves and walked round Tunstall Reservoir.

We visited some local beaches and enjoyed different coastal locations.  She has swung on tree swings and loved it. She enjoyed spending time with our cat and dogs at home and out.

They have loved her too!

We have visited a couple of farms one of them was Broomhall fam in Wilton Gilbert and seen lots of animals and their young, and even watched lambs being born’’
