We’re very pleased to announce that Sophie has a new role at Study Links. As well as being Head of Student Services, as of Monday 20th April, she is also Head of Homestay & Transport. Here, Sophie give a quick overview of what her new role as Head of Homestay and Transport will include:

“Firstly I am very excited to be undertaking a new role with a new team of people. I am very lucky as Carol, Liz, Jane and Chris are extremely good at in their role and together we can only improve the department! To give you an idea of my role, I will be required to take full responsibility for the management of the Homestay and Transport team.  Strategic thinking is essential and I really need to use excellent communication skills to successfully engage and inspire the Homestay and Transport team.  I am accountable for time, cost and quality of objectives.

With my new role I hope to grow our customer service levels and really grow our team and company by meeting our key values; Principled, Positive, Attentive, Accomplished and Fresh.

Other main duties within my role will be people management, rescource planning, and quality management. In time I will also start looking at the basics of the department and make sure all of the role duties are perfect! I feel that I am a good leader, and will hopefully get the best out of my lovely team who have a great deal of experience.

I feel that this change within Study Links is another positive move to continue our growth and service. I will continue my role as Head of Student Services, and use my experience and knowledge to help the Homestay and Transport department.”
